A sponsored spot on the Nickelodeon channel we designed, styled, and sourced for this project to enhance the space and create this moment between father and son for Father’s Day. We added subtle branding for Nickelodeon with their signature orange and blue details while also highlighting the Gillette product.
Supporting the production design, we added elements and details to create a ‘basement’ look to this sound stage set. Sourcing, decorating and styling we worked with the Sketchers team to add the storytelling element to their new product.
For this project we focused on the Kylie and Kendal Jenner set. We created the lived in feel for their space, added personal touches, prop styling, and additional enhancements to the designed environment.

A '90s party to celebrate the launch of the WGT website and a 2 year cancer-versary.
We transported guests back to the '90s with some of their favorite nostalgic moments in activations and experiences. A custom red carpet photo moment, '90s glam at the beauty bar, Bayside lockers for merch and a photo with the iconic Zack Morris cell photo. Guests played video games in our custom arcade with '90s games like Asteroids, Pac Man and Skee-ball. Guests could watch a graffiti artist create custom pieces before entering the beer garden to join the beer pong tournament. Light up cocktail tables and bar added the '90s glowing neon complete with throwback candy, sunglasses and glow sticks to made them feel like kids again.

A garden where fairies might live.
When I first met with Zoe and her Mom, they wanted to create a space that felt like a place they would visit in Northern California. They described it as ‘a woodsy place where fairies might live’. So we transformed their cement city patio into an over grown garden. Held during the pandemic, the service was shared via Zoom so we featured a colorful live flower backdrop with Zoe’s favorite colors; bright orange and fuchsia. Layered with vines, foliage, bright wildflowers, painted tree stumps, colorful runners and whimsical rattan furniture, this intimate event allowed guests to celebrate safely in person and enjoy their own private garden in the middle of their city.

A sneaker fanatics fantasy first birthday.
Rained out in our original location, we quickly pivoted to a new space and new layout the day before the event and wound up making an even more magical day. This slam dunk first birthday party featured custom “Air Camden” signage on the interactive basketball wall with light up benches, floating clouds and basketballs. Shoebox activity tables had hidden easter eggs in the style number and barcode on the box. The custom sneaker wall showed off an impressive collection surrounding a sneaker cake. We added details like an “OFF-WHITE” branded ball pit, moveable details in the brunch menus, and baby sneakers at each station and table. All signage details were designed to be taken home and repurposed as decor for the client.

Unicorns and Rainbows (fit for the grownups too)
Our goal for every kids party is to create something magical and whimsical, while also balancing sophistication and elegance for the adults. Faced with limited space, the client opted to cover the pool in order to add more seating for guests. Were able to add a custom bar, DJ booth, extra seating, and an ‘unofficial’ adult lounge. We hand painted the unicorn backdrops and designed the rainbow unicorn menu design including details like Pegasus Punch for the adults. The kids table featured rainbow acrylic unicorns with fringe unicorn tails tied to back of their seats. The dessert table hosted a beautiful rainbow donut tower. Ample activities and stations kept the kids entertained so adults could enjoy a beautiful afternoon sipping cocktails.

Disney’s Coco for my daughter.
A personal project, this styled shoot/mini celebration was created for my daughter while we were deep in 2020. Like many families with small children we spent a lot of time watching movies and one of her absolute favorites was Coco. Watching this movie over and over, I became so inspired to recreate this beautiful story into a space she could walk into. I pulled details like Hector de la Cruz’s guitar (the cake), song lyrics, candles and marigolds, sugar skulls, and of course, a little cocktail for me. Her face was the best indicator of success and exactly why I love doing what I do.

An English Tea Party
Butter Cake Shoppe tasked us with creating a vintage tea party table scape to showcase their seasonal sweets. To highlight the elegance and organic texture of the desserts, we included fresh fruits and vegetables that you would find in a garden, wildflowers, and live moss to the table scape. Long taper candles and a mix of cake trays added height and interest to all of the photographs without distracting from the desserts themselves. Still one of our favorites and most delicious to date.

Inspired by a crayon box and #2 pencils
When our vendor teams come together, we always like to test each others creativity - and this shoot was no different. Chalkboard and hall pass cookies, paint pallet cupcakes, and a 'stack of school books' cake made this back to school celebration one that any kid would look forward to. In order to make this event feel more like a celebration, we added details like balloon filled egg crates to support our table, #2 pencil bouquets, hanging gold stars, and mini paper airplane table top chalkboards. School has never looked so good!

A farmer's market style brunch
For our friends at Cooking is Personal, we wanted to create a brunch that celebrated the recipes included on their website and the ingredients used to create them. We used fresh produce and herbs to surround the buffet adding texture, color and aroma as guests filled their plates with some fan favorites like bruschetta two ways, lemon and garlic prawns and a mixed berry pavlova. After the meal guests were encouraged to ‘shop’ the table, taking home ingredients to recreate some of the recipes themselves.

A Thanksgiving table scape that both kids and adults would enjoy
We created a design for this project that was colorful and festive for the holiday, and also felt playful and sophisticated for the guests. We used similar elements in both table designs so that they stayed cohesive, but swapped a few pieces to make it kid friendly. To blend the whimsey of the grown-up table with the playfulness of the kids table, we added rich fall colors with mixed metallic elements, coupled with pops of bright pink and gold glittered pumpkins that tied both of the designs together.

A twist on a classic
For this design, we took the Valentine ‘love letter’ and gave it wings- literally. We chose to use large elements for the design to keep it more visually interesting and a little less saccharine than a traditional Valentine style. Hand painted oversized paper airplanes with guests names flew above an intimate setting of champagne and sweets. A loose leaf paper inspired cake tied in the love note theme while envelope cookies, lambeth heart cake, and a heart shaped cheese board flew right into this party’s heart.

An Oasis in the City
This project with Resort Pass was created for Hotel Indigo DTLA. The rooftop makeover was intended to drive new clients to Hotel Indigo while using Resort Pass to enjoy the hotel amenities. We called the project The Swim Club to for a feeling of belonging, but also exclusivity. We transformed the space with a fresh color palette, new furniture, updated landscaping, custom signage and a breezy new look to the cabanas. This refreshed design helped triple the hotel’s food and beverage sales within the first month of opening.

Kentucky Derby inspired styled shoot
This styled shoot was designed to highlight new furniture pieces from Two of a Kind rentals and showcase the work of the new Executive Chef at The Fig House. We designed the ‘Run for the Roses’ shoot with hand painted vintage jockeys, velvet jockey helmets, horse shoes and vintage trophies filled with roses. The simplicity of the lounge design kept focus on the furniture while the surrounding details brought it all to life. We tied in the stained glass window design from the venue to the place cards and menus for subtle branding in the photos and peppered in roses every chance we could get.

To raise organization awareness and provide a fun day for pediatric cancer patients
This marketing event was broken into 4 time slots during the day to raise awareness and reach and create a special experience for pediatric cancer patients. We made sure the event was beautiful, fun, and inviting for all guests. We turned over and reset the space for each available time slot. The co-branded event tied in design and elements and activities for kids to enjoy while waiting for their turn to hang out with Blippi. Truly a magical day.
